RDP Keyboard Shortcuts Every Administrator Should Know

Here is a useful Microsoft MSDN article about Remote Desktop Services Shortcut Keys. These shortcuts work with traditional Remote Desktop Services (RDP) sessions on Microsoft Windows and can save administrators considerable time during troubleshooting and support activities.

For example, use <CTRL><ALT><MINUS KEY> to capture (screen print) images of individual windows from a Remote Desktop session.

Most frequently used shortcuts:

• Ctrl+Alt+End (Security screen)
• Alt+Page Up (Switch applications)
• Alt+Page Down (Cycle applications)
