Recently, I was using Microsoft Copilot, which tried to explain to me- falsely- that Crystal Reports was no longer a supported product. It made sense on the Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, to put out some truthful information about Crystal Reports, which was recently updated in March 2025 and has future updates planned for 2027 and 2029. Despite the FUD you might hear from vendors trying to cast their own reality, the SAP BusinessObjects platform and Crystal Reports are Business Intelligence for the Living.
