WACS On, WACS Off: Time to Turn It Off for Good
Beginning with SAP BI 4.2 SP5, the RESTful Web Services were decoupled from WACS and could be deployed on Apache Tomcat instead. This is a recommended best practice for all SAP BI 4.3 installations, as the WACS server is not present in BI 2025.
